In all process systems, both industrial and food, pressure vessels and process tanks are key elements that play an important role in the whole process system.

Pressure Vessels and Process Tanks for Food Applications

 

For our food grade processing plants and customer requests, SACOME designs and manufactures stainless steel tanks and pressure vessels in a wide variety of sizes and shapes. SACOME pressure vessels & process tanks are manufactured in compliance with the highest standards of workmanship.

SACOME manufacturing process is performed with the highest levels of quality, paying special care to the internal finish, the welds and the various elements that compose it.

The volume of SACOME pressure vessels and process tanks is adjusted to the customer’s needs as well as its dimensions. Typically, they are equipped with two level sensors for maximum and minimum control over a pressure sensor to know every time the analogy level inside.

In addiction, SACOME pressure vessels and process tanks has a level sensor (one for the maximum level and another for the minimum one), as well as a pressure sensor in order to know the exact amount of product inside the tank. We include in our scope of supply the temperature control, done by means a PT100 gauge connected to the PLC and SCADA.

SACOME pressure vessels and process tanks also contain a manhole (with an opening sensor and safety grid) that allows an easy inspection of the inside. By this way, the operator can provide different ingredients to the tank.

SACOME pressure vessels and process tanks cleaning procedure is usually done by means of CIP balls, although other cleaning systems, under request, can be installed in the vessels.

All the inlet and outlet connections are normalized food grade clamps, manufactured in 316L.

In addition, SACOME food grade pressure vessels & process tanks can included the following components:

    • External coil for heating / cooling.
    • Agitators in various configurations depending on the product and process.
    • Exterior insulation composed of finish wool and an outer stainless steel plate welded and polished to allow cleaning the outside with water.

Food Grade Storage Tanks

 For SACOME Mixing Tanks, we have developed by ourselves the technology for the internal agitation and scraping of the inner wall of the tanks.

SACOME CIP systems are designed to reduce the time needed cleaning, and recover the maximum amount of solution through recover the maximum quantity of solution by recirculation and conductivity control for neutralization in the next cycle.

CIP Tanks

One of the main purposes of the balance tanks is to keep constant the liquid column pressure at the inlet of the pump, to avoid the risk of cavitation, as well as a constant flowrate is kept in the production.
