Biogas Treatment Systems

SACOME has an extensive experience in design of Biogas Treatment Systems to its use as biofuel in electricity and steam production.
All the equipments supplied by SACOME to different waste water treatment plants (WWTP) have guaranteed a perfect cleaning and conditioning of biogas, thus avoiding the corrosion and abrasion problems associated to the consumption of biogas in gas turbine, engines, fuel cells and steam boilers, as well as in the rest of the process equipments which compose the biogas recovery plant.
SACOME Technical Department provides customers with simulation tools to determine the dew point in biogas, both before and after its processing through the tubular heat exchangers in dehumidification system.
SACOME’s designers pay special attention to the pressure drops of the stream flowing in the biogas channel. This parameter has a great importance when designing the process equipment. An excessive pressure drop will negatively affect the rest of the elements that make up the biogas conditioning system, reducing the overall performance of the installation.
