SACOME understands as Quality of a product its capability to serve efficiently in the specified working conditions, ensuring safety for all estimated useful life, and with the minimum operating and maintenance costs.
SACOME understands that the quality in our products is a commitment and a personal responsibility of all our members, being our obligation to achieve and project an image of professionalism and integrity.
SACOME is interested in achieving and demonstrating sound environmental performance, controlling the impact of its activities and products on the environment.
SACOME is aware of its duty to ensure the health and safety of workers in every aspect related with work, by controlling working conditions and by providing our workers the appropriate level of protection.
Success is the sum of all individual actions at every level of the company. Each worker of SACOME is responsible for his action in the field of his specific function, being fully compromised with the quality of the product offered to customers, with the sustainable use of resources, respecting the Environment, and ensuring the Health and Safety.

Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU
SACOME is authorized to manufacture equipment of any category, and affix the CE marking because its quality system has been audited and complies with the requirements of the H / H1 modules of the new Directive 2014/68/EU.

Quality Controls and Non Destructive Tests (NDT)
The quality control performed on our equipment is divided into three phases:
- Inspection of incoming raw materials
- Controls during manufacturing
- Final inspections.
In all of them a careful visual inspection and an exhaustive dimensional control are carried out.
Final assessment of all our pressure vessel always includes a test for the pressure containment aspect, which normally take the form of a hydrostatic pressure test at a pressure at least equal, where appropriate, to the value laid down in the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU. Leak tests with pressurized air are always included too.
During manufacturing, other inspections are usually performed:
- Radiographic examination of welds (using both X-ray and radioactive isotopes)
- Liquid penetrant
- Ultrasonic examination
- Magnetic particles
- Other non-destructive tests according to the customer requirements.
These are outsourced to recognised third-party organizations.
Furthermore, final inspections include checks of finishing, cleaning, painting if applicable, packaging and preparation for shipment.
All the quality tests and inspections are supervised and inspected by the most renowned Inspection Agencies SGS, APPLUS, EUROCONTROL, Lloyd´s Register of Shipping (LR), Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Bureau Veritas, Germanischer Lloyds (GL).
