
Balance Tanks
SACOME balance tanks (feeding a pumping group) are a key part inside the production of a process plant in food applications.
It’s necessary to avoid the cavitation phenomenon by ensuring that the pressure of the pump is higher than the vapour pressure of the liquid.
One of the main purposes of the balance tanks is to keep constant the liquid column pressure at the inlet of the pump, to avoid the risk of cavitation, as well as a constant flowrate is kept in the production.
