Heat exchanger intended for the cooling of a cheese-based food product
SACOME has been contacted by a former client who has a tubular heat exchanger previously supplied by SACOME in 2002. This heat exchanger is intended for the cooling of a cheese-based food product. After almost 18 years of continuous operation, the client has expressed its satisfaction with the operation of this tubular heat exchanger and has requested the manufacturing of a second identical line to double its current production.
Specifically, this heat exchanger is an annular space heat exchanger, consisting of 4 units of 3 meters interconnected with each other. The heat exchangers are completely manufactured in AISI 316L stainless steel and mounted on a frame. The selected model is the S-TF40R-D, with radial heads and corrugated tubes, with a design pressure of 20 barg in the product channel.
In particular, the client stresses that the cleaning and maintenance works required on this heat exchanger is much less frequent and less expensive in comparison to equipment from other manufacturers that they also have it on the production plant.
