New development of a heat exchanger intended for the cooling of poultry intestines
We have collaborated with a Spanish engineering company to develop a tubular heat exchanger ,our model S-TF20-I, intended for the cooling of 1,000 kg/h poultry intestines. In this application, SACOME has extensive expertise, it is important to ensure the flow rate of the intestines through the heat exchanger to avoid too high-pressure losses in the installation. In addition, it is crucial to have a database of physical properties that allow us to work with these types of products.

The importance of rheology in the design of food plants
The importance of rheology in the design of any processing plant is crucial since the sizing of many of the elements composing it is very dependent on this “resistance”, also taking special relevance with food products: heat exchangers, pipes, valves, pumps, mixers, etc.
How to design a heat exchanger
To design a heat exchanger it is necessary to have certain data, such as the process flow rate, the temperature and the physical properties of products.
