Heat exchangers intended for CIP heating system
SACOME is awarded a contract for the renewal of all tubular heat exchangers required in the CIP (Clean In Place) cleaning system of a major dairy products factory in Spain. The customer — who belongs to one of the most important multinational companies in the production of milk, yoghurts and desserts — has a score of heat exchangers in the factory. These tubular heat exchangers are intended for the heating and maintenance of the cleaning solution used in all their production systems.
Our V SERIES heat exchangers are specifically designed and optimized for the CIP heating processes, in which condensed steam is used in the shell side as hot fluid.

The SACOME V SERIES provides a range of advantages that make it the ideal solution for CIP cleaning systems:
- Permanent stock. SACOME manufactures these heat exchangers in make-to-stock (MTS) production, so that immediate supply is guaranteed.
- Improved exchange surface. Thanks to the inner tubes with HARD corrugation, the V SERIES heat exchangers achieve a much higher heat exchange rate than conventional tubular heat exchangers, which means a significant reduction of heating times.
- Compact design. These heat exchangers have a total length of 1.5 meters and standard connection flanges.
- Installation versatility. The V SERIES heat exchangers can be installed both horizontally and vertically, depending on the available floor space.

The importance of rheology in the design of food plants
The importance of rheology in the design of any processing plant is crucial since the sizing of many of the elements composing it is very dependent on this “resistance”, also taking special relevance with food products: heat exchangers, pipes, valves, pumps, mixers, etc.
