Heat exchanger intended for crystallization of sodium nitrate and potassium nitrate
SACOME has been awarded a contract to design and manufacturing of a heat exchanger intended for crystallization of sodium nitrate and potassium nitrate. The main mission of the tubular heat exchanger is the evaporation of the solvent by adding heat within the crystallization system. Thanks to the energy input with steam, we can achieve the high temperatures required in the process.
For this project, our technicians proposed a solution based on our I-TFM-I heat exchanger to carry out this process. This tubular heat exchanger is part to our Industrial Line.

The importance of rheology in the design of food plants
The importance of rheology in the design of any processing plant is crucial since the sizing of many of the elements composing it is very dependent on this “resistance”, also taking special relevance with food products: heat exchangers, pipes, valves, pumps, mixers, etc.
