Processing of sludge by oxidation in WWTP
SACOME has designed and manufactured a pilot plant for the processing of sludge by oxidation in WWTP, working in close cooperation with a Spanish company boosting the latest technology of wastes revaluation. Once the development stage was completed, the project has entered through this prototype to the experimental phase. The expectations having been fulfilled, the process has been scaled up to an industrial level.
The plant for the processing of sludge by oxidation in WWTP comprises 2 sections, one for heating and another for cooling. The major challenge at the design stage was related to the demanding working conditions of pressure as well as temperature, necessary to keep stable the chemical reaction caused in the waste product.
