Furthermore, for specific projects where we do not have the necessary resources or knowledge for a particular calculation, we have the support of various companies. In this regard, we recently supplied a Turkish customer with a heat exchanger mounted vertically on a frame. Due to the environmental conditions in Turkey, our customer asked us to perform a mechanical calculation for special seismic conditions, as there is a high risk of large earthquakes in the area where the equipment is to be installed. In this case, we cooperated with an external company specializing in this type of special mechanical calculations and were able to offer our customer an optimal solution validated for these seismic conditions. The vertical arrangement influenced the design of the frame, which had to be made very robust to prevent the equipment from tipping over in the event of earthquake vibrations.
In short, this project is just one more example of how SACOME is not only an expert in what we do, but also has significant external support to offer our customers the best possible response and solution.
