New supply of shell and tube heat exchangers intended for the heat recovery of organic alcohols
SACOME has recently supplied several shell and tube heat exchangers for a major multinational company in the chemical and energy sector, operating in more than 30 countries with more than 30.000 employees worldwide.
As usual, it has been crucial to meet the client’s specifications as well as taking into consideration the space available in the plant. One of the positions, destined to the heat recovery of organic alcohols, consists of several heat exchangers in series of 10 meters of length, each one. This length is greater than the usual commercial lengths, not being a problem for SACOME in manufacturing terms since, according to our company philosophy, we design and manufacture customized solutions.
On the other hand, our Technical Department has checked the mechanical calculation of the tubular heat exchangers for different scenarios, considering the additional loads on the connections, as well as wind, snow, precipitation and seismic loads.
