Compact cooling solution for purified water in a pharmaceutical application. SACOME has extensive experience in the design and manufacture of tubular heat exchangers for the pharmaceutical sector, meeting the high standards this industry requires for all product-contact surfaces. A recent example is the supply of a SACOME P-TFM-I model for cooling purified water from 25 °C to 20 °C using chilled water at 6 °C, with a heat duty of 4 kW. The solution is based on a compact design, with removable inner tubes and eccentric reduction heads with clamp connections at both ends. Both components were manufactured in accordance with the ASME BPE standard, ensuring a surface roughness in contact with purified water of Ra ≤ 0.51 μm. Its compact configuration, together with the level of finish required in contact with purified water, makes this a solution aligned with the hygiene and construction standards expected in pharmaceutical service. Designed for pharmaceutical service, down to the last detail.
