SACOME<\/a> has supplied a new tubular heat exchanger for biogas<\/a> drying at a wastewater treatment plant.<\/p>\n

The unit was designed to cool a biogas flow of 350 Nm3\/h down to an outlet temperature of around 2 \u00b0C, allowing the water content present in the biogas stream to be removed.<\/p>\n

This heat exchanger was developed together with a condensate vessel connected to its outlet, designed to maximise the amount of water recovered from the biogas stream. To improve this recovery, the exchanger incorporates a downward slope, ensuring the circulation of condensed water even at very low ambient temperatures.<\/p>\n

In this type of application, the result depends not only on the cooling duty, but also on how the equipment is arranged to favour condensate recovery in real service conditions.<\/p>\n
