{"id":42910,"date":"2026-04-29T10:03:25","date_gmt":"2026-04-29T08:03:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/efficient-designs-for-demanding-applications\/"},"modified":"2026-04-29T10:10:25","modified_gmt":"2026-04-29T08:10:25","slug":"efficient-designs-for-demanding-applications","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/efficient-designs-for-demanding-applications\/","title":{"rendered":"Efficient designs for demanding applications"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SACOME has supplied a <strong>tubular heat exchanger for biodiesel heating<\/strong> to a company specialised in the management, treatment and recovery of oily waste for the production of sustainable biofuels.<\/p>\n<p>The application required heating 4,000 l\/h of fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) to approximately 200 \u00b0C using thermal oil at around 300 \u00b0C. This is a demanding service, both because of the operating temperatures involved and the need to ensure stable, maintainable performance over time.<\/p>\n<p>One of the main project requirements was to allow inspection access on both sides, as a certain degree of fouling was expected in both fluids.
