\nA very common industrial application for SACOME is the condensation of steam on the tube side of vertically arranged equipment. Normally, the solution of choice in these cases is our industrial multi-tube model (I-TFM-I). Following on from the above, SACOME has supplied several capacitors of this type throughout the year 2021. They are normally less than 3 metres long, in vertical arrangement and with a flanged tube plate to allow the reductions to be removed and the inner tubes to be inspected when necessary. In addition, there are usually significant pressure drop restrictions on the steam side, so a good choice of inner tube diameter and distribution is necessary to obtain adequate process parameters. In most cases, vertical supports are usually added as well.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the service fluid circulating on the casing side is usually cold water. In this sense, it is also common to have 2 different cooling sections in series, so the flanged tube plate design allows us to easily join the tube plates of both units in series while the casing side is in parallel.<\/p>\n
