In particular, a series of tubular heat exchangers are required for the refining of MARPOL<\/strong> (short for &#8220;marine pollution&#8221;). These exchangers have a <strong>dual purpose<\/strong>: on the one hand,<strong> to raise the temperature in the residue by means of a high-temperature thermal oi<\/strong>l; on the other hand, <strong>to condense and recover the vacuum vapours generated by the treatment of the hydrocarbons by means of cold water.<\/strong> Given the nature of the product, with a high degree of fouling, different<strong> SACOME I-TFMP2-D model multi-tube exchanger<\/strong>s with removable tube bundle are supplied, with design conditions of 6 barg and 300 \u00baC, and capacity to process up to 10,000 kg\/h of waste. Thanks to a careful design of the AET, BFT and BET configurations of the TEMA code, and depending on the cleaning needs of each equipment, the customer obtains excellent operating results, with programmed and simple cleaning cycles.
