{"id":32102,"date":"2021-05-17T13:18:25","date_gmt":"2021-05-17T11:18:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/?p=32102"},"modified":"2021-05-17T14:13:22","modified_gmt":"2021-05-17T12:13:22","slug":"tubular-heat-exchangers-process-water-heating","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/tubular-heat-exchangers-process-water-heating\/","title":{"rendered":"Process water heating in a high pressure line"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[et_pb_section bb_built=&#8221;1&#8243; fullwidth=&#8221;off&#8221; specialty=&#8221;off&#8221; next_background_color=&#8221;#000000&#8243;][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.21&#8243; border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Spanish headquarters of a <strong>major multinational company<\/strong> dedicated to the <strong>production of soluble coffee, cocoa, spices and dairy derivatives<\/strong>, among others, has contacted <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/about-sacome\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">SACOME<\/a><\/strong> to request a <strong>system consisting of two I-TFM-I tubular heat exchangers intended for heating 20 m\u00b3\/h of process water in a high pressure line of 16 barg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>In the first heat exchanger, the process water is preheated to ambient temperature<\/strong>, taking advantage of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/steam-condensation\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">condensates<\/a><\/strong> from the second heat exchanger, which are also at 16 barg and 205 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>In the second heat exchanger<\/strong> exchanger, in series with the first heat exchanger, the <strong>target temperature<\/strong> of 190 \u00baC for the process water is reached by means of <strong>steam<\/strong> at 16 barg and 205 \u00baC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>With this system of two heat exchangers in series, it is possible to reduce steam consumption by more than 20%, thanks to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/steam-condensation\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">use of energy from the condensates<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The SACOME\u2019s team has <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/engineering-design\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">designed<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/manufacturing\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">manufactured<\/a><\/strong> two <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/multitube-industrial-heat-exchanger\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">I-TFM-I tubular heat exchangers with corrugated inner tubes<\/a><\/strong>.
