At SACOME<\/a><\/strong> we are specialists in the design of tubular heat exchangers for biodiesel processing<\/strong>, among other applications. Biodiesel<\/strong> is a growth sector, and we have been supplying numerous heat exchanges<\/a><\/strong> for many years.<\/p>\n Tubular heat exchangers<\/strong> for biodiesel applications<\/strong> have special characteristics<\/strong> and a great experience is required to find the optimal solutions<\/strong>. In this sense, at SACOME <\/strong>we take into account important aspects<\/strong> such as the correct drainage of the equipment<\/strong>, the selection of a suitable material<\/strong>, process speeds<\/strong> that minimize fouling problems<\/strong>, etc. Furthermore, thanks to our own development of the corrugated tube technology<\/a><\/strong>, we are able to achieve very compact equipment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.21″ border_style=”solid”]<\/p>\n Continuing with the above, during this year 2020 we have supplied several I-TFM-I heat exchangers<\/a><\/strong> to a leader company in the sector of biodiesel in the United Kingdom. In particular, we have supplied them with heat exchangers to carry out the cooling of biodiesel by means of cold water<\/strong>. The solution proposed by SACOME consists of an arrangement of six-meter-long units in series inclined on a frame<\/strong>. Regarding the material, we have selected Duplex 2205 in the parts in contact with biodiesel in order to avoid corrosion problems<\/strong>. Also, as mentioned above, using SACOME corrugated tubes<\/strong> (specifically our HARD corrugation<\/strong>) we have been able to achieve a very compact solution<\/strong>. After a few months working with our corrugate tube heat exchangers<\/a><\/strong>, our client has congratulated us since the proposed solution works as expected. In fact, this client has awarded us another very similar project for the same application.<\/p>\n
