This adaptation is not only limited to the <strong>thermal design<\/strong> of the equipment, but also to customer requirements in terms of <strong>mechanical calculations<\/strong>. In this sense, at SACOME we have various <strong>mechanical calculation softwares<\/strong> (for example, <strong>PV Elite<\/strong>). Therefore, we are able to carry out these calculations according to different <strong>design codes<\/strong>, such as <strong>AD 2000 Merkblatt, ASME VIII Div 1, PD 5500<\/strong>, among others. In the same way, we can perform calculations for <strong>Finite Elements Analysis (FEA)<\/strong>. Furthermore, at SACOME we collaborate with other external companies specialized in mechanical calculations to solve those cases that we cannot calculate by on our own means.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Continuing with the abovementioned, SACOME has recently been commissioned for the <strong>thermal design, mechanical design and manufacturing of two heat exchangers for the vegetable oil sector<\/strong>. Thus, SACOME has performed the <strong>mechanical calculations<\/strong> required to find the <strong>optimal solution<\/strong>. A fundamental parameter in this type of seismic calculation is the so-called <strong>\u201cLong-Period Transition Period, TL (s)\u201d<\/strong> whose value depends on the geographical area in which the equipment will be installed.
