SACOME<\/strong> has been awarded a contract from a global pharmaceutical Enterprise from Sweden, world leader in the field of medicines, colloidal suspensions and enteral and parenteral nutrition products, for the replacement of 2 pharmaceutical heat exchangers<\/strong> supplied by our company, having more than 20 years of operation since its commissioning<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The tubular heat exchangers<\/strong> supplied by our company are based on a P-TFM-I multitube heat exchanger<\/a><\/strong> within the SACOME Pharmaceutical Line<\/a><\/strong>, intended for the heating and cooling of water for injection (WFI)<\/a><\/strong> and emulsions<\/a><\/strong> (glycerin, soybean oil, olive oil, phospholipids, vitamins and sodium oleates, among others).<\/p>\n This pharmaceutical heat exchanger<\/strong> is a tubular heat exchanger<\/strong> designed and manufactured to comply with the FDA regulations<\/a><\/strong>. Among others, it\u2019s worth mentioning its double tubesheet design<\/strong> to prevent the cross contamination between the product and service channels, as well as the self-drainable construction<\/strong>, to allow the emptying of the product side after every shutdown.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.21″ border_style=”solid”]<\/p>\n On the other hand, to meet the customer\u2019s specifications, the tubeside channel <\/strong>has a rugosity Ra \u2264 0.51 \u00b5m<\/strong>. Once manufactured the tubular heat exchanger<\/strong>, it has had a further electropolishing treatment<\/strong>, an electrochemical treatment by anodic dissolution with which we have improved the surface uniformity<\/strong>. Furthermore, with this electrochemical treatment we get to decrease the roughness<\/strong> and deburr the micro-peaks of the surface<\/strong>.<\/p>\n SACOME<\/strong> offers a warranty period for their heat exchangers<\/strong> as stated on our General Sales Conditions<\/a><\/strong>.
