In many cases, SACOME<\/strong> is consulted to prepare a tender in which the ASME \u201cU\u201d stamp <\/strong>is required. SACOME had this certification in the past, being especially common in the countries of North America, but currently it\u2019s no longer available within our scope of supply. However, many of the companies asking for this certification are unaware that ASME \u201cU\u201d stamp is not mandatory for certain pressure and temperature conditions and for certain dimensions of the equipment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.17.6″]<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.17.6″ border_style=”solid”]<\/p>\n An example of the above-mentioned is the recent supply of several CIP solution sanitary heaters <\/strong>for different projects in the United States and Mexico. In all these projects, the ASME \u201cU\u201d stamp <\/strong>was initially a non-negotiable requirement, but after informing the clients that ASME \u201cU\u201d stamp is not necessary for small-sized equipment with normal pressure and temperature conditions<\/strong>, the clients made the appropriate inquiries to corroborate this fact and finally they accepted the SACOME proposal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.17.6″]<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.17.6″ border_style=”solid”]<\/p>\n Focusing on the technical solution<\/strong>, SACOME<\/strong> decided to consider a sanitary multitubular heat exchanger (S-TFM-I)<\/a><\/strong> with customized design<\/a><\/strong>, having corrugated inner tubes and shell<\/a><\/strong>, eccentric reductions<\/strong> and external polished surface finish<\/strong>, as usual in the SACOME Sanitary Line<\/a><\/strong>. In addition, as the client was concerned about the way of performing the maintenance works<\/strong>, it was decided to consider flanged tube sheet <\/strong>and clamps connections on the product side<\/strong> to facilitate the disassembly of the reductions<\/strong> and be able to properly perform the inspection of the equipment<\/strong> in the future.<\/p>\nCIP solution sanitary heaters<\/h2>\n
