SACOME has a huge database with <strong>thermal properties <\/strong>of thousands of products and hundreds of them are <strong>different types of juices and concentrates<\/strong>. Our great expertise in this sector allows SACOME to perform a better approximation of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/heat-exchangers-thermal-calculation\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">thermal calculations<\/a><\/strong> even though when it is not possible for the client to know the exact <strong>properties of the product <\/strong>and it is not possible to provide a <strong>product sample<\/strong> for SACOME to perform a rheological test (SACOME collaborates with the Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Cartagena and the Universidad de Alicante to obtain the properties of products). This fact is even more vital in the case of non-newtonian fluids whose behaviour in many cases can be unpredictable.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In line with the earlier comments above, SACOME has just supplied two frames with <strong>tubular heat exchangers for the processing of concentrated carrot juice<\/strong>. The information received from the client regarding the <strong>properties of the product<\/strong> was not enough to perform the <strong>thermal calculation<\/strong> and it was not possible to get a <strong>product sample<\/strong> to perform a rheological test. However, SACOME contributed its experience to achieve an accurate estimate of the missing values and thus perform a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/heat-exchangers-thermal-calculation\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">thermal calculation<\/a><\/strong> as tightly as possible.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.17.6&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2>Annular space heat exchanger with radial product inlet<\/h2>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.17.6&#8243; border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Regarding the technical solution, SACOME opted for an <strong>annular space <\/strong>model because of the <strong>high apparent viscosities<\/strong> of the product and the <strong>flow regime<\/strong> was completely <strong>laminar<\/strong>. In this case, SACOME considered its <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/annular-space-heat-exchanger-radial-product-inlet\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">annular space heat exchanger with radial product inlet<\/a> <\/strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/annular-space-heat-exchanger-radial-product-inlet\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">S-TF40R-D tubular heat exchanger<\/a>) since there was <strong>no presence of solids of a significant size<\/strong>. Once the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/tubular-heat-exchangers\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">heat exchanger<\/a><\/strong> model was decided, SACOME carried out the necessary <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/engineering-design\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">thermal and mechanical calculations<\/a><\/strong> to define the best possible design, optimizing all the <strong>process parameters<\/strong>.
