SACOME<\/strong> has been awarded with a new supply of a set of metal expansion joints<\/strong> <\/a>to be installed in the loading\/cargo trolley<\/strong> of one of the main steel mills<\/strong> in the world for the manufacture of this type of equipment.<\/p>\n These cargo trolleys<\/strong> are installed in a coke oven battery<\/strong>, which is the first link in the steel chain<\/strong> where, in rectangular-shaped containers sealed off<\/strong> and located at the air intake (called coke ovens<\/strong>), the coal<\/strong> is transformed into coke<\/strong> (for the consumption of blast furnaces<\/strong>) and gas<\/strong> (used in heating<\/strong> and for other purposes<\/strong> within the factory).<\/p>\n The battery makes an important contribution to achieve the quality objectives of the Blast Furnace<\/strong> and is aimed to get good-quality final products, coke<\/strong> as well as gas<\/strong>, as above-mentioned.<\/p>\n The coke battery<\/strong> is meant to produce, on a regular basis, quality coke<\/strong> at a competitive price for the internal consumption of AHV<\/strong>, thus getting the maximum efficiency<\/strong> from the by-products<\/strong> (gas<\/strong>, tar<\/strong> and ammonium sulphate<\/strong>).<\/p>\n A battery is composed of the following elements or sections:<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.17.6″]<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.17.6″ border_style=”solid”]<\/p>\n\n
