Once again, SACOME<\/strong> has been awarded with a new supply of metal expansion joints<\/strong><\/a> for one of the main engineering companies<\/strong> in Spain. The scope of supply includes the design<\/a> <\/strong>and manufacturing<\/a><\/strong> of metallic compensators<\/strong> for the hot air<\/strong> and conveying circuits<\/strong> for the drying<\/strong> of different particulate products<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The supply of this system is made up of more than 20 expansion joints<\/strong><\/a>, having diameters between 850mm and 650mm. The configuration of the metal expansion joints<\/strong> may vary depending on the location in the installation, making up the set of some of them with internal anti-rotation systems<\/strong> to avoid twisting movement<\/strong> in the metal bellows<\/strong>. All the supplied metal expansion joints<\/strong> have got crossed inner sleeves<\/strong> to guarantee an optimal performance.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The metallic bellows<\/strong> are manufactured with several sheets, all having very thin thicknesses, by means of hydraulic shaping<\/strong>, that gives them a much more homogeneous distribution of the deformation stresses<\/strong> throughout the wave profile, ensuring thus their optimal operation<\/strong> under these working conditions.<\/p>\n

Operating conditions of metal expansion joints and metallic compensators<\/h2>\n

[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.17.6″ border_style=”solid”]<\/p>\n

These metallic expansion joints<\/strong> work under operating conditions of 700\u00baC<\/strong> and vacuum pressure<\/strong>. They are mainly destined for dehydration processes<\/strong>, what consists on an operation whereby the water<\/strong> contained in a certain substance is totally or partially removed. This definition can be applied to solids<\/strong>, liquids<\/strong> or gases<\/strong> and, as it expressed, it can be used to describe several unit operations such as evaporation<\/strong>, adsorption<\/strong>, among others. However, their theoretical treatment and the technology used, make them completely different.<\/p>\n

Carrying out customized design<\/strong> for each expansion joint<\/strong> and for each customer, allows SACOME<\/strong> to supply the most suitable metallic compensator<\/strong> for each process at any time. This is why our customers keep on placing their trust on us both, for usual supplies as well as for new designs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Every customer is filed in our database in such a way that we keep a customized register<\/strong> for each one, where we place on record the designs, references, among other features, for each client and application, thus facilitating the purchase order management and reducing the delivery time<\/strong> of the orders.<\/p>\n
