SACOME<\/strong> has been awarded by a leading company manufacturing vacuum producing equipment for the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries<\/strong>, to supply two vacuum vapours condensers<\/strong> coming from a single stage ejector<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Our company holds an extensive experience in the design and manufacture<\/strong> of condensers for vacuum lines<\/strong>, which is an application with certain features to be taken into consideration.<\/p>\n Firstly, a compact design<\/strong> was required by the client, since the equipments are integrated into a small-sized skid<\/strong>. On the other hand, due to the vacuum design pressure<\/strong>, it was necessary to propose a geometry to avoid or prevent the risk of mechanical and acoustic vibrations<\/strong>. Our technicians have verified the thermal calculations<\/strong> of the equipment with the latest HTRI Xchanger Suite<\/strong><\/a> software version, which incorporates a specific module for the vibrations checkings<\/strong>. Likewise, they have checked the mechanical calculation<\/strong> to prevent the vacuum collapse<\/strong>.<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.17.5″]<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.17.5″ border_style=”solid”]<\/p>\n The heat exchangers<\/strong> <\/a>are TEMA BEM 27\u201d model<\/a><\/strong>, having removable headers<\/strong>, and they are intended for the condensation of vapours<\/strong> coming from a cooker by means of tower water as cooling fluid. The proposed TEMA<\/strong> configuration has a flanged tubesheet design<\/strong>, which lets the client to remove the headers to easily access to the tubes channel<\/strong> for mechanical cleaning<\/strong> and maintenance tasks<\/strong>, if required.<\/p>\n On the other hand, the tubesheet<\/strong> is fitted with a 10 mm thick square neoprene gasket<\/strong>, according to the client specifications.
