This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/tubular-heat-exchangers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>heat exchanger<\/strong><\/a>, built into a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/biogas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>biogas production line<\/strong><\/a> within a major livestock holding, enables our customer to enhance the efficiency in the production of biogas in the 4 <strong>anaerobic digesters<\/strong> making up the plant site. The installation is able to heat up over 1.000 tons per day of <strong>cattle slurry<\/strong>, using as <strong>service media process water<\/strong> coming from other part of the plant. The <strong>thermal duty<\/strong> of the installation is over 1 Megawatt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to define the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/fluids-thermal-properties\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>thermal properties of the product<\/strong><\/a>, having a dry matter of 11%, we have worked in close cooperation with our client and with laboratories from different universities, thus optimizing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/heat-exchangers-thermal-calculation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>thermal design of the heat exchanger<\/strong><\/a>, but leaving a certain overdesign factor for such a varying product.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With regard to the adopted solution, we proposed our<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/tube-in-tube-industrial-heat-exchanger\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong> I-TF20-I model<\/strong><\/a>, <strong>monotube heat exchange<\/strong>r of our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/industrial-line\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Industrial Line<\/strong><\/a>, the best choice to get an <strong>optimal heat transfer<\/strong> as well as to <strong>minimize the risk of plugging<\/strong> for a product of this kind.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.16.1&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2>Selection of the material for the process side components in the waste recovery of cattle slurry<\/h2>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.16.1&#8243; border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>Several alternatives were proposed to the client by the engineers from our <strong>Technical Department<\/strong><em>. <\/em>Finally we have offered them <strong>2 parallel lines with manifolds to split the hot water stream<\/strong>, which has made a more efficient use of the available <strong>service water flowrate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Particular attention has been given by our technicians to the <strong>selection of the material for the process side components<\/strong>, with the aim to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/avoid-intergranular-corrosion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>avoid corrosion issues<\/strong><\/a> due to the possible presence of certain precipitates in the product, in particular <strong>struvite<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At last, we have proposed the client a configuration that allows the<strong> disassembly of all the interconnection and manifolds<\/strong> in order to access to the tubes and proceed to <strong>maintenance and mechanical cleaning tasks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243;][et_pb_blog _builder_version=&#8221;3.21&#8243; posts_number=&#8221;3&#8243; include_categories=&#8221;33&#8243; show_author=&#8221;off&#8221; show_date=&#8221;off&#8221; show_pagination=&#8221;off&#8221; fullwidth=&#8221;off&#8221; use_overlay=&#8221;on&#8221; hover_overlay_color=&#8221;rgba(0,0,0,0.56)&#8221; \/][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SACOME have recently supplied an equipment intended for the heating of cattle slurry, as part of a pioneering project for biowaste recovery in Spain. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":26744,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[47],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-26747","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/26747"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=26747"}],"version-history":[{"count":9,"href":"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/26747\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":30089,"href":"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/26747\/revisions\/30089"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/26744"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=26747"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=26747"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.sacome.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=26747"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
