The main mission of the Gimbal metal expansion joint <\/strong>(simple metal expansion joint for two-axis angular movements\u00a0SSC and SFC) is to absorb angular expansion movements with rotation on two axes both thermal and mechanical origin.<\/p>\n

Gimbal metal expansion joint (simple metal expansion joint for two-axis angular movements<\/strong>) is composed of a single bellow of several waves in the form of “U”. These waves are made by one or more metal sheets longitudinally welded and shaped hydraulically or mechanically.<\/p>\n

Due to its configuration, the designer must bear in mind that these models DO NOT transmit pressure stresses<\/strong> to the fixed points and guides of the piping system.<\/p>\n
