Universal Tied Metal Expansion Joint<\/h1>\n

The main mission of the universal tied metal expansion joint<\/strong>\u00a0 (UST, UFT and UGT) is to absorb lateral and angular movements<\/strong> of both thermal and mechanical origin.<\/p>\n

This metal expansion joint is composed of a single bellow of several waves in the form of “U”. These waves are made by one or more metal sheets longitudinally welded and hydraulically or mechanically shaped.<\/p>\n

Due to its configuration, the designer must bear in mind that these models DO NOT transmit pressure stresses<\/strong> to the fixed points and guides of the piping system.<\/p>\n
